Responding to a multi-faceted challenge from DeKalb Market in Brooklyn, weetu proposed how the market could sustainably reuse a shipping container, while offering foodies, and other hungry people, the opportunity to do good by satisfying their bellies.

weetu’s concept involved the creation of a new non-profit organization that would increase social awareness of charitable giving through “Belly Box”, a shipping container transformed into a diner. Belly Box would invite "Top Chefs" to create menus that incorporated locally grown, seasonal produce. Profits generated by the sale of Belly Box delicacies would be donated to the Chef's favorite charity. The ease of transporting the Belly Box was an added bonus, as we could travel to any location that our Top Chef might request.
